Harley Medical Group gave me PIP implants instead of the saline implants I paid for and discussed at length at my booking appointment. (the French one's that have been the subject of litigation for 6 years and were filled with silicone meant for mattresses and carpets) Having no knowledge of this I have ignored all the news in the Press about the dangers of PIP implants thinking I have the safe saline implants and that does not apply to me. Until I became so unwell I have ended up with urgent surgery and been diagnosed with chronic poisoning. A top NHS surgeon has saved my life and informed me they are PIP implants, what has been explained to me about HMGs history with regard to breast surgery is not good. Harley Medical Group phoenixed their business in 2012 after the PIP scandal came to light internationally in 2011. Presumably to avoid either helping or compensating any of their patients. I would not touch this firm with a barge pole and have handed the matter over to solicitors. The Clinic Manager said that this news had been in the press before and pretended not to know what I meant about pursing public action. She then put the phone down on me. Nice and classy.

Do not use them! At all! For any reason.

Paid for consultation where surgeon doesn't even examine the issue. Tells the patient to continue going to gym and that pain management is a state of mind and nothing more. Tells the patient they do not trust them to return for additional cosmetic surgery (which they did not ask for anyway) and then states that the issue isn't bad.

The next day the patient had to go to A&E and have emergency surgery!!!

You are putting your last life at risk by using these people. Despite complaining about the unusual advice at the time, the regional manager repeatedly stated they saw nothing wrong with the consultation or advice given.

We will be seeking legal advice to ensure this surgeon cannot continue to harm patients!

I had rhinoplasty in August 2016. Simple procedure (closed) and performed by Mark Solomos. Mark is a fantastic surgeon.

The care however from HMG has been absolutely awful.
Appointments lasting less than 5 minutes, follow on appointments due to a skin adhesion being ignore. Sending me to a literally quack doctor who had his staff refuse to let me leave the building until I handed over £150! They rarely respond to emails or calls without being hassled.

Worse still I contacted the Operations Director of the group Grant Watson to be listened to at first, but now ignored totally as my adhesions are fixed. This didn't stop them demanding I attend an appointment for less than five minutes which cost me £20 in parking. The nurse didn't even know my case history!

I am thrilled with my result and the fact I can breathe properly now due to a deviated septum and skin adhesions however, this is down to the surgeon NOT down to the company.

The company take your money, make you feel special until a week after your surgery then they're done with you!
Unfortunately for them my rhinoplasty needed revision due to my septum and they only listened to me after I spent another nearly £500 on appointments, calls and emails daily!

Their staff are not polite at times and lack common sense and decency. My advice to anyone thinking of using Harley Medical Group is don't.

I used them as I wanted the specific surgeon. But I now realise there are much better and safe ways of getting this done! Harley Medical Group have caused me anxiety, stress and depression, but more importantly pain.

Now I await further action from Mr Grant Watson who I have asked to refund me some of the money spent as a simple closed nose job has ended up due to his company's incompetence costing me a lot more!

If I could give the Harley Medical Group ESPECIALLY DR MARK SOLOMOS 0 stars I would.

I initially felt very confident when i was going on for my 1st surgery only to wake up with something completely different to what i had been 'sold' i was so upset and Dr Solomos and his nurses agreed it was done very poorly when i attended my follow up appointment some time after surgery and asked if they could re do my surgery to correct it, of course i wanted them to correct it so i waited the 12 months or my second surgery where thy had promised my breast surgery would be corrected and my implants would be under the muscle as agreed ONLY TO WAKE UP AGAIN FROM SURGERY AND MY BREASTS LOOK WORSE THAN THE FIRST TIME! I sobbed for weeks until i could get an appointment with the surgeon, when i got there he took me Into his consultation room i took my top off he checked my breasts and said yep they're great and rushed off. i have now raised a formal complaint and am awaiting a response... I am a 22 year old woman and i look like i have been butchered!
Please AVOID!!!

The reason why I choosed HMG was for what I have been told about the surgeon. They told me that he doesn't do drastic things so that he can make change if needed in a second surgery. After one year of my rynoplastic I went back because I wasn't happy with the result. The tip of the nose is still really big and in some way this is even more visible than before, due to the correction they did to the bridge part. I have been told that it is too risky do another surgery, I feel so disappointed. It wasn't easy for me save the money for the surgery and now it feel like a big waste of money. i feel so angry with myself because I trust him and them. He said that at end I would have a nice nose in balance with the rest of the face..bullshit. I cannot watch myself in the mirror, i hate see picture of myself. psychologically I feel worst than before. My impression is that they don't do a second surgery, unless it went really bad and there are health concern. And I hate the fact that you have the consultant (not even the same) with you all the time during the visit with the doctor.

After many years of contemplating Breast augmentation, I finally decided in Jan 2017 to go ahead. I didn't know where to start so I searched the internet for companies and reviews.
I decided to visit 2 and see how things went. I chose the longest running, as I knew them from adverts, and also Harley Medical group.
I did a little research on line. It told me to check that the surgeon was registered, and had a list of questions I should ask.
The 1st company was very commercial. It felt very sales orientated, and although I got to meet the surgeon I didn't feel comfortable. He was reluctant to answer questions, but instead ran through a list of risks and tick boxes to prove he had told me the possible consequences. He then passes me back to the sales rep to answer my questions. Unfortunately she didn't really know any answers. I had pretty much decided by the time I left that I wouldn't return.
My 2nd appointment was at the Harley Medical group in Clifton. I met Holly, a nurse, who was able to explain the whole procedure, answer my questions and help me with decisions such as size and shape. Being medically trained she was experienced with the risks and able to talk me through them. It was obvious she knew what she was talking about. She was also able to recommend a surgeon based on my previous experience, that she thought I would feel comfortable with.
After this meeting it was up to me to decide if I wanted to continue, in which case I would have a meeting with the consultant, or keep looking. I felt really comfortable and confident, and decided to continue.
I met With Mr Gill, and he was friendly and happy to spend time with me. This time not just ticking boxes but getting to know me. Why I wanted surgery and what I expected from it. This help him to guide me through the options to get the results I wanted. We were chaperoned the whole time by a female member of staff, which again helped put me at my ease. We made the decision about what type of implant would suit me, and the correct procedure for my body type and size.
I had 2 more appointments in Clifton for pre op tests, and then travelled to London for the procedure. They were quick and painless.
The facility in London was modern and the staff friendly and helpful. I checked in, in the morning and was given a room in order to prepare for surgery. I had a nurse to look after me until they were ready. Mr Gill came to see me and prepared me for the surgery. I also met the anaesthesiologist who would look after me during the operation. He was with me in theatre and talked to me until I was asleep.
The hardest part is not knowing what to expect after the operation. I was able to go back to my hotel after a couple of hours. I was uncomfortable but not in much pain. I did find it difficult to lie down and sit up. But I was able to go out that evening for dinner.
I took pictures of the results, and to be honest it was a little scary. They are swollen and bruised and don't look like you expect, but this is perfectly normal, and I trusted that they would settle down, and expected this to take some time, possibly months.
It was difficult to sleep for me as I lie on my side normally, but things quickly started to improve and I could see a difference after the 1st week. I went back to the Clifton clinic for the dressings to be removed and my progress checked. I was still quite sore and it took me 3 weeks to return to work, but that was mainly due to the nature of my job. Most people can return after 2 weeks.
The improvement each week was significant, and I took weekly photos which really helped me see the difference. HMG called me weekly to check I was OK, they answered all my questions helped reassure me.
At the end of 6 weeks I had my final appointment in Clifton to be signed off. After 6 weeks I have the breast I always wished I had, they already look normal and natural. The scars will take time to fade but are quite well hidden already by the shape of my breast. I know they will continue to improve over the next year while I heal on the inside, but already I couldn't be happier with the results.
The team were amazing. They are like a family and always remembered me and made me welcome. They always had time for me, and even though I've been signed off I can go back at any time if I can problems or concerns. I know they will be at the end of a phone if I need them and happy to help.

I had rhinoplasty in 2009 with Dr Moraci (he was in the news a few years ago as he was suspended from practicing in the U.K after so many complaints) and I can truly say it was the WORST decision I ever made. I actually paid this company money to ruin my face aesthetically and also cause me SERIOUS breathing difficulties. I have a hospital appointment booked with the ENT department to see if they can fix the damage that has been caused. Fingers crossed!! Here is a brief summary of my experience:

Initial consultation - nurse/sales rep was super nice until after I paid the money and she ignored my calls and emails.

Surgery - when I went down to theatre nurse started to prepare me for a boob job!

After surgery - large lumps in nose and narrow nasal passages. Dr Moraci injected something into my nose during follow up appointment.

Numerous follow up appointments, with dates a locations cancelled and changed.

First revision surgery - kept awake on operating table. Dr Moraci cut out scar tissue. I only stayed a few hours and left with cotton wool up my nose.

Numerous follow up appointments

Second revision surgery - was put to sleep this time as hated last experience. Instead of piece of cotton wool up my nose I woke up with nose packing and bandages all around my nose! Dr Moraci told me I would need 5 days off work! News to me!! Had to call somebody to pick me up and ask my boss for time off.

Follow up appointments - Dr Moraci said I would need third revision surgery. When I started to cry he was unsympathetic "why are you crying?"

Demanded to see another surgeon. New surgeon could not believe Dr Moraci wanted to carry out so many revision surgeries in such short space of time. He said I should wait a bit longer. When I went back to him he referred me to see medical director.

Visit to see medical director - elderly gentleman spent first 10 minutes looking for pen. He confirmed I had an irregular bridge and severely deviated septum from the surgery. He did not seme impressed with how I had been treated. He said that we would get it fixed and said somebody would be in touch.

I never heard back from Harley Medical Group and they ignored all my calls and emails.

I have spent years now unable to breath unless I use a nasal spray. I have large hard lumps at the end of my nose and hate having my photo taken from certain angles. My nose has a smell like rotten fish sometimes and I have a piece of stitching that has been left sticking out.

Please, please, if you are thinking about having surgery do your research and find the best surgeon...no matter the price. My decision to go with Harley Medical Group will affect me for the rest of my life and has damaged a vital bodily function...to be able to breathe.

I signed up for 8 treatments for laser hair removal for face, half arms and underarms, that's a lot of money that the nurses took from me on my first visit. I missed one appointment due to death in the family and they refused to reschedule that appointment for me, no refund either.
The nurses are inconsiderate if you are screaming in pain, they don't give you a break to rest of the part of skin that is burning in pain, they just carry on wanting to get the job done. They don't care if you get the best result they just want your money! Unprofessional, unskilled staff!
I have been left with patches on my skin with untreated hair, few months on I am where I was before the treatment, no reduction in hair at all because the nurses didn't do their job properly. I lost over £1500 and wasted my time!

Wasted many months trying to get surgery though the Harley medical group in Birmingham. First appointment was great, felt happy with what I was going to have and took all information home with me. Decided to book and paid my deposit for the surgery date and pre op appointments. Assessments are a long travel just to be seen but seemed worth it to me. A week after paying the deposit my assessment appointment was changed from Bristol to London so alot longer journey. I decided to do it anyway. My pre op was still in birmingnam. When I arrived I met another couple who were there for a post op appointment. She had the same op I was waiting for (tummy tuck) and she said she was hugely disappointed and said she would never use them again. I wish I had listened. Hour wait for the appointment and the lady couldn't get any blood so was a wasted journey anyway. Had to rebook for another nurse to be there to help. As the assessment had been moved it was now after the 31 day cut off to pay the balance. I paid this in full and set off to maidstone for my appointment very excited. Long journey and overnight stay so more expense. Then told at the assessment by the surgeon I would need alot more work, I explained I was only unhappy with my tummy he said he wanted to do the rest totally another £7k or he wouldn't do it. There was no way I had this money and would require two surgeries and work would never allow the time off. Rang harley group who after a week of chasing accepted I could have a refund. I was disappointed and out of pocket but was happy to be getting the money back. It took over a month to recieve the money! I had to chase them everyday and they would only refund by cheque so even longer to get my money. Terrible customer service. I've now had the surgery I wanted without the ridiculous extras elsewhere which was ¬£3000 cheaper and I am over the moon with the results.
Considering how much harley charge you would expect better. If they had dealt with it correctly I would have used them still in the future but all they cared about was getting there interest on my money. Never again
Just happy I've finally had it done.

I decided to write about Harley Medical group as I feel it deserves to share my poor experience with them, especially after failing to keep up with the complaint/feedback I had given them. In summary, I had booked for four sessions laser hair removal- results are quite poor and unsatisfactory so far. At the beginning, I was only adviced I need four sessions only during my first consultation- however few weeks ago, I was adviced that for the area which I was treating, I would need 10-12 sessions!! How could this be acceptable- they completely failed to give the correct advise and keep a consistent word! Each time I had a laser treatment, it was with a different nurse- only reading the previous notes on their systems- which directly made me feel it was not a personal service as how they promise! In addition, on two occasions, they had re- arranged my treatments last minute, which lead to inconsistent results! As a result, I have now registered with a different clinic altogether. I had written a complaint regarding their service, however, it was not followed by anyone and I have not heard from them since. This was first week of November. It is a shame of this clinic and I will strongly discourage people from using Harley Medical.

I had surgery that did not go correctly in 2015. The Dr said he would not charge surgeon costs for a revision, as he wasn't happy with the job. However the clinic quoted me as astonishing price - nearly as much as the initial cost. They would not budge on the cost and would not provide a price breakdown. Nice juicy profit margin I guess! When i decided to go through their complaints procedure, a lady called Bernice Berry told me i was not entitled to go through their complaints procedure, but refused to write this in an email to me. The whole experience was dreadful. Two words spring to mind lazy and greedy.

Last a couple of months ago I went back, the surgon and receptionist and whoever else was on the phone informed me removal would be free with a fee to replace them, during the consultation I was told to have another scan privately where they suggested, I did I paid and then was told over the phone by receptionist, sorry but we got it wrong, you have to pay the fee of replacing them, time it takes to contact is reticulated, trying to phone is non existent now as apparently the office is closed a lot, I emailed and am still waiting a reply. I have had for long while a burning sensations, lumps under my arms, a breast that is getting bigger the othet shrinking due to it being folded?? pulling and aching in my neck, back, legs and hips, I have rashes and tiredness all the time, I have been to the doctors had blood tests and all if fine apart from the symptoms above which is causing me to take pain relief to often, and apparently I am told silicon flotation around your body will not harm you, and yes anyone can get cancer, great thanks.

I had breast surgery (Enlargement) done back on October 13th 2015.
I never looked my age, being 27 with two kids an still being ID or people mistaking me for the older sister of my 9 year old was truly annoying and I hated it where as most people find it flattering.
Any way I contacted the Harley Medical Group as a friend of mine recommended them to me, as with all surgeries its a strong must to do your research of your potential surgeon. I had the choice of two surgeons under the Chelmsford Essex branch an I had access to their CV's an I found it to be very informative. Which was very helpful with choosing a surgeon. I met with the Nurse first off and she was understanding an welcoming an very professional an treated me as a individual. On the second appointment I met my surgeon Dr Mark Solomos.
He was very clear an professional understood me being nervous he understood what I wanted with all the nerves an getting a little tongue tied too.
He too was very welcoming an knowing what I wanted from the surgery an ideal size for me. He does give you a professional opinion an to be honest I am really glad I took his advice as I was thinking I would be far too big as a 34DD (Which I found out they don't go by cup size but in fact just numbers. I was told the my breasts would swell from operation but they would settle down an I would end up being either a rough 34D OR 34DD.
I went from a 34A to a 34DD after the operation but now 5 months on I have noticed the swelling has gone an I can now say I am a happy 34D with much more natural movement an look too. It's given me so much more confidence now an I love my new woman shape. Being a 10-12 on the bottom an a 8 on top is difficult buying matching underwear an swimwear is ludicrous. However now I am more a even shape an I am so happy with everything. I'm actually looking forward to buying my first bikini as I have never worn one in my life.

I went in on the day to have the op done an he came in to see me an was very calm an nice to me. All the way through he was very professional an made sure I was well looked after an considerate of my excitement and nerves for having the operation. When I saw the Nurse a week later to check on healing of my scars they was really careful of me an made sure the whole way through I was ok. After that I saw him for my follow up I was so pleased with my results.

Before opp I was very conscious of taking my top off an being exposed but now I am not ashamed of my body as I have learned to love my body as all of us should do.
Thank you so much Mark I can't thank you enough an all the staff at the Highgate hospital an to also the lovely nurses at Harley medical group in Chelmsford. You all have changed my life in a major way I thought nothing could ever have come close to.
Strongly recommend him an the Harley medical group.

I have suffered at the hands of the Harley Medical Group directly and honestly wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through with them.
About 5 years ago I had a rhinoplasty with Dr Philip Graham. It went wrong, badly wrong, I was left with a severely wonky nose. I had a revision 2 years later - the HMG wouldn't let me see another surgeon so I had to go back to someone who had made a terrible mess of my face. Surprise and surprise it went wrong again and I was left with a broken footplate hanging down under my nose. They told me to go back to Philip Graham again, at which point I was in tears on a regular basis. I went back, got booked in for surgery and then the week before (after booking a week off work), it got cancelled. I booked in again and it got cancelled again (almost 4 years into the first surgery at this point). Then Dr. Graham left the company. They sent me all over the country to each of their surgeons to find someone who would fix the mess. Most refused to touch it. After raising a complaint with them about the whole carcrash of a situation (and nose) their regional manager Sam sent me what can be only described as a hugely disturbing letter (which I will upload if I can) threatening that If I went to the press they would withdraw their support in helping me getting it fixed (it has to be seen to be believed!!) and that I should be grateful that they had agreed to pay my travel costs....which was later withdrawn.
I imagine if everything works out you will have a positive experience with the HMG but if things go wrong, and I for one am certainly in a place to say, things DO go wrong, you will be left out in the lurch and treated terribly.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to the Harley Medical Group. In the end I was left with not only a visually very bad nose, I struggled to breathe through my left nostril after the 2nd surgery. I have had to pay thousands to go to a specialist to get it fixed and I still struggle with breathing and, although not as bad as it was, my nose still points slightly to one side.
Do not make the mistake I did and use the HMG. I will try and upload letters I got from them which shows how you get treated when things go wrong to this post.

I was burnt badly by the laser hair removal which took 2 years of care to recover. I contracted a skin infection at this clinic. Staff gave the impression of having medical training but did not. I was offered further laser on top of serious burns as a treatment for the damage already caused which I refused. No other help was offered. The bikini laser left me with an odd shaped bikini line which I am not happy with. All this was extremely expensive and damaging though I am described as a perfect candidate for laser hair removal.

Dear Sirs

It is with regret that I must write to you regarding the ill - treatment I have received at The Harley Medical Group on Harley Street in London. I felt that it was important to make you aware of my experience and the poor mishandling of your Obagi products.

I first visited the premises on 24 of February to discuss concerns over a skin pegmentation that I developed and to learn if any of their treatments would be suitable to my condition. I was informed that Obagi skin care would be the perfect choice and that I would need to undergo an agreesive skin peeling technique to make this work. I was pleased with the consultation and excited to make a start to my treatment. In total I was asked to pay £745 incl. I was also informed that they would need to see me post 2 weeks after my first treatment, then 1 month thereafter. They were to contact me to schedule the appointments.

Still to this day I have received no contact from the clinic or no follow up to see how I have been getting on, which I'm sure you will agree is absolutely appalling. Instead I needed to visit the practice recently to ask why I haven't been contacted and was just offered an apology, no reason given. I also learnt that the practice had misadvised me by telling me that I needed to mix the acid with formula 3, when in fact I was supposed to mix with formula 5. A big mistake that could have been critical.

Now that I have visited the clinic they are happy to see me, but the point is why didn't they contact me in the first place? Why did they not check in on me to see how my treatment was progressing and furthermore why did they tell me to use the wrong formula?

I just feel that this clinic is only interested in one thing and that is to make money off people. They are not interested in patient care or in delivering the best results. Contrary to this I am not seeing any improvement in my treatment and feel very let down by both the whole experience.

I had my procedure in Feb of 2013 so they've had time to settle in and I love the work. My treatment from start to finish was excellent and I've never had any problems. I'd previously had a consultation with transform and was horrified with the experience but the Harley Medical group were fantastic. I've referred a friend for the same procedure and didn't receive the £100 I was assured so that's disappointing but I can't fault them for my surgery.

I have used this company for a couple of years now for various treatments with mixed feelings about the results. What my feelings are most certainly not mixed about is the disgusting customer care...
I'm getting absolutely sick of this place!! And how rude and incompetent the front desk staff are....can anyone please recommend somewhere reliable for me to have treatments in London? My "course" of three dermaroller treatments that should have been carried out 6 weeks apart have been going on for almost a year now - I began the course last December. I've had two treatments since then and every time I go there is some fiasco: I can't count how many times I've attended for me to be told they can't carry out the treatment for one reason or another. On one occasion I sat with the numbing cream on my face for an hour before I was told they couldn't proceed! Really sorry they said! But no money off or compensation offered! Today I arrived on time to be told l had arrived at the time wrong That is, late). When I told the receptionist that I had an email to prove that the time was correct she asked me to show it to her. As I was looking at my phone to retrieve the email a woman called Bummi came along and told the receptionist that, indeed, I was in the wrong and that they would have to reschedule. As I tried to explain that I was looking for an email with the time she told me she didn't care as the woman who sent it to me (Gemma) no longer worked there so it was irrelevant. How did she know who sent me the email without asking me?!! Bummi made no effort to address myself but talked about me to the receptionist as if I was invisible. I called customer services 3 times after this and they kept hanging up. Eventually I was told by one of their agents (Sophia) that according to her records, I had the time correct and that I had arrived for the appointment at time. I asked if she could tell me what the company protocol was on reimbursing customers for travel expenses and time taken off work. How could she know she asked?! She only works there!! Put it into writing to the manager Gemma she says. Hold on, hasn't Gemma left so says Bummi?! Completely shambolic, I hate this place. And for the record the treatment has left me with worse skin than before I started - it makes your skin break out in terrible spots and I still have scars from these since the last treatment in June...Why did I even bother trying to get my moneys worth today? HATE!!! Would really appreciate advice from customers who have attended other London/SE clinics and been happy with the results and customer service. I'd like to give my money to a company/doctor/nurse that deserves it!! Thanks.

I have been here 4 times. They removed some thread veins on my face which was fine. They say they can deal with stretch marks and improve scars and get rid of brown spots but poor results in all of these areas. Their nurses have little empathy or compassion and are just going through the motions. The company overall are rather faceless because trying to speak to someone in their head office or with real authority is very hard. I get the impression they get lots of complaints and so have basically learned to hide away knowing that most people will just give up.

I feel that they can get some good results for some treatments but for many treatments they don't.

I would say that you should consider them but don't expect too much and be very wary and careful.

Hi, I have paid HMG for a male chest reduction and flanks, lipo.
My surgery is next week.

at my last surgeon consultation, the surgeon, mr massilimino, or something like that, told me that ideally i needed vaser for best results, HMG then told me this would be £3100 more money. I have said to them that they have directed me towards and charged me for an inferior surgery, normal lipo, that the surgeon has confirmed will NOT give me the best result, so I wish to know cancel and have my money back, which they are refusing, has anyone got any idea how to get it back? Lawyers to use, letters to write? please mail me direct, really urgent, 6k down the drain, literally.

I had a Breast Augmentation done at Harley Medical Group (HMG) in London on November 1, 2013 with Dr Mark Solomos and it has been almost 7 weeks and I am extremely happy with the result. I keep looking at my boobs and feel much better and happier. He did an incredible job. Even though he gave me pain killers, I have been in absolutely no pain just I had discomfort at the beginning.

Dr Mark Solomos is such a nice doctor, very knowledgeable, kind, friendly and even though you know that you are going to have a big surgery, you do not feel nervous, he just make you so comfortable. He is a doctor you could trust 100%.

The staff and nurses at HMG couldn't do much than what did for me. They make you feel at home. They ask you about anything make you comfortable and when you tell them even personal thing about your life they remember all the names and places you mentioned, incredible! They are such special and above all you do not call them a nurse they are very knowledgeable and you could call them doctors. I am very much pleased.

If you are thinking of any surgery I would highly recommend Dr. Mark Solomos. At the beginning when I asked about him every single one was telling me you are so lucky and you are in good hands and I found out that is very true.

Where to start. At my 1st visit to the Wimbledon clinic the manageress was bad mouthing one of the nurses. It was so loud I could hear it all whilst sat in the waiting area. My initial thoughts were how unprofessional this was. Then there were muddle ups in my apppintments and once when I turned up I was sent away as they claimed not to have me booked in their diary. All I was offered was a microdermabrasion treatment as a good will gesture. I did not want or need this treatment - I was not even offered a refund on my parking ticket or any financial deductions for wasting my time. Then due to medical reasons the Harley Med Group would not treat me so I was offered a refund on the money they were holding. I had to wait 2 months for the refund - I did not receive the money back automatically - I was forced to keep chasing it. When I received the money back it was less then what I was owed and what I was advised (in writing) that I would recieve back. These people are money grabbing and greedy. I would never use them again. The treatment was laser scar removal and it was a waste of time and money anyway.

Stay away from the Harley medical group. I had a rhinoplasty done and because of the first botched job I had to have another one after I complained. After the second I'm still not happy, and that is not because of too high expectations but just a bad job!! I should have learned my lesson after the first time but because of the discount they give to existing customers and my lack of funds, I returned for treatment on scars an pigmentation. I put down a deposit for a procedure I was told I could have by the REGIONAL MANAGER!! after cancelling the first appointment and I went a few days later to a London clinic. Only to be told that I couldn't have the procedure because the company were told licensed to do it!! The one person who is supposed to know what they're doing in the company had no idea, advising me to get something that they were unable to do. To add, before I arrived at the clinic for the procedure I by mistake went to the wrong London one. I needed numbing cream on the area an hour before so the Harley street clinic put cream on my stomach and sent me to the city clinic. Even they didn't know they couldn't do the procedure as they put the cream on me and sent me on my way. Two months later no one has returned my 20 calls of complaint! And I still do not hav my deposit back. The regional manager has now left the Company as I'm told so now my case is in limbo with no one to deal with me. Absolute joke. Stay away from Harley medical. I should have known better!

paid as a dream present and she has been left with a botched breast job and has had no joy from the Harley group as the surgeon left on bad terms and they just don't want to know, she never even saw anyone but the nurse to take the stiches out afterwards, phone call after phone call and they have never even phoned back.

she has been in tears about it and hides away because of it.

seems as soon as they have your money they don't care.

saw a different surgeon at the hospital group and he was shocked that someone could do such a poor job, its going to cost me £7500 to have the bad job corrected, implants to big and have bottomed out and nipples now look like elongated love hearts and are too high so show over her bras.

I made a complaint in writing to Harley Medical Group, Harley Street, London office stating that I believe they mis-sold me a treatment that had no chance of working. The cost was over £1,500. I made the complaint in early November 2012. I have phoned them relentlessly. I rarely get through to Harley Street (phones are constantly diverted) but to a central call centre. The staff are all very nice here but have no authority to do anything. I have heard continually, 'I'm sorry no-one's got back to you, I'll send the clinic an e-mail and copy in my manager and the regional manager and ask someone to call you back today'. I am irate, bored, exasperated and totally DISGUSTED that they would treat any person this way.

Initial consultation with clinic nurse - Good, positive start
Consultation with surgeon 2 weeks later - Awful! Kept waiting 1/2hr when I went in he was texting on his phone, offered a miserly appology then said I see you lost a lot of weight! - he did not even glance through my casefile and was not prepared for the consultation. His examination was poor and cursery - A quick prod he proceeded to tell me that after twins my tummy muscles were shot. He advised lipo (for another £900) to accompany the procedure - I questioned the result difference with lipo and without - and after telling me he couldnt meet my expectations (he didn't know what result I wanted as he hadn't asked me) even the clinic manager stepped in to try to reason with him. I then wrote a polite email complaint requesting the return of my fee (paid in full before even meeting the surgeon stupidly due to timescale)5 weeks and a ridiculous amount of phonecalls and emails and I am still waiting for my money back - Disgusting

The overall service from Harley medical group was poor and from start to finish they have over promised and woefully under delivered. The surgeon , mr solomos was superb as was the welbeck hospital . I would most definately go direct to the hospital as their service and customer care on the day of my operation was excellent. HMG had told me my admission time was 7.30am but when I arrived at the hospital, their admission form (populated by the clinics such as HMG) stated 11.30. The hospital and the surgeon sorted this out as it was HMG who on the Monday had requested a later admission time. I still do not know why and the change was never communicated. I am still waiting for the call from HMG that I was promised today, the day after my procedure. The hospital could not have been any better and I would award them 10/10. Harley medical Group however offer little more than a referral service and aside from the financial transactions, have not given a good level of customer service, care or support. I had to chase every phone call, and at one point was so frustrated, had to request a discussion with one of their Directors whose platitudes did not change much of the issues I experienced in the run up to my procedure. Given the time and energy spent preparing for this and the positive comments I heard about the surgeon I followed through to conclusion. I would not, however ever use HMG again. Their appalling phone system is good enough reason as they fail to return calls, do not read emails and no one in Harley st is ever available unless they want money from you. I'm hoping my procedure and out one however will meet my expectations. Early days but I cannot fault either the surgeon or hospital at this point .

I had BA with harley group in 2007 and have since found out they used pip implants.
I have been trying to sort this out with Harley group since Feb 2012 and finally got an appointment after having NHS scan that showed rupture and enlarged lymph nodes in early June for consultation in September. As my implants have been in less than 6 years I was told that I would not be charged for replacements. I today received a letter telling me they have now decided to charge £2500 to anyone who has implants for less than 10 years which includes me. How can they change their mind when someone who luckily got an earlier consultation got their op free and I now have to pay because they dragged their feet with appointments. NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO HARLEY MEDICAL GROUP AND I DO HOPE THEY GO BUST!!! pardon the pun.

Ive been trying to do some research myself and believe me its been so long winded.
I have decieded to go to Harley Street under Dr.Moraci on the 17th May for Breast Enhancement and now I canot wait !!!
I had my consultation and then met him the following week. He put my mind at rest and made me even more excited than I already was.
I am currently a 34b and going for 230-260cc over the muscle to which he said wil give me a full C or small D .... exactly what I wanted as I am only 5'2 and dont want to look to big.
I am paying the full ?4,000 with an over night stay at Highgate Hosptial with no expense spared - sod it Im only doing it once !!!
so I am very comfortable with my Surgeon and cant wait just over 5 weeks to go and counting.
Hope this helps,
Regards .... :D
