Breast Enlargement Pills & Supplements

There are numerous breast enhancement supplements on the market. A simple search on the internet will reveal lots of these, along with the enticing marketing claims from the supplier's web sites.

How Do Breast Enlargement Pills Work?

The hormone oestrogen, is known to increase the size of the breast through causing fluid to be retained in the breast tissue in the short term. In the longer term, oestrogen promotes tissue growth within the breast. So in theory, products that either contain oestrogen or stimulate the body to generate oestrogen in some way, could produce the desired result of bigger breasts.

Risks & Possible Side Effects

Oestrogen on its own stimulates the growth of uterine tissue and this has been linked to cancer of the uterus. Many birth control pills contain oestrogen but they also contain another hormone, progesterone which inhibits the effect of oestrogen on uterine growth. So if a product does enlarge breast size through oestrogen, concern must be raised over other risks and side effects as described above. If you look at some of the web sites marketing these products you will note that little information is made available about the possible side effects or risks of taking the products. Just as with breast enlargement surgery, it is essential that you research and understand the risks before taking any breast enhancement supplements. Many of the products can have side effects so you should consider how these may affect you. Discuss them with your GP if you are unsure. One thing that is clear though is that none of these products will allow you to increase your bust, permanently, by two cup sizes within a short period of time.
