Following your breast enlargement surgery, it is important that you wear a well supported bra for six to eight weeks after surgery. And, of course, it is also important that you wear one that is the correct bra size! I recommend that very soon after surgery, you are fitted for a new support bra. Note that you will have some swelling from the operation and so the size you are measured at will change over the following few weeks. So don't go rushing out to buy a whole set of new bras just yet! You will need to be remeasured around eight weeks after surgery when all swelling has settled down completely and your new size and shape has taken form. Then you can go bra shopping!
OK, so you have just had surgery and you have been measured for your support bra. You will be wearing a support bra night and day for the next six to eight weeks. So make sure it is comfortable and fits really well. Sports bras are recommended. Don't get an underwire bra or a push up bra. They won't shape your new implants properly and they won't be comfortable. I also recommend that you buy at least two support bras - unless you plan on not washing the one you going to wear! It is also worth buying different styles of support bra which have slightly different fittings. It can get uncomfortable with the same style bra fitting in exactly the same way on your body for that length of time! I am speaking from experience here.
